Onca a month, on a week that we don't have a Shabbat morning service, a group, members and non-members, get together at someone's home for "Lunch and Learn." This Shabbat experience has proven very popular.
The format of "Lunch and Learn" is a short service and then a Torah study that lasts just over an hour.
To prepare you for the discussion, there is a section in our weekly newsletter where you will be given information on what to read, and many times given questions to think about.
The program ends with a short concluding service (including Mourner's Kaddish).
Lunch is prepared and served by the host and/or hostess.
There is no charge.
Starting time is always 10:00 and lunch is at noon.
Limited to 20 - 25 people depending upon the home.
